Information We Collect

When you use Sports Intelligence Pipeline ("SIP"), we collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Player information: player name, jersey number, position, team name, graduation year, GPA, and biographical details you provide.
  • Game footage: video files you upload for analysis.
  • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and browser/device type for improving our service.

How We Use Your Information

  • Process game footage and generate player profiles, stats, and highlight reels.
  • Deliver profiles, PDFs, and highlight clips to your email.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Communicate with you about your account and deliveries.
  • Improve our video analysis and service quality.

Video Footage

Game footage you upload is used solely for generating your player profile and highlight clips. We store raw video on Amazon S3 with encryption at rest. Footage is retained for the duration of your account to enable reprocessing and highlight generation. You may request deletion at any time.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers: Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (storage and hosting), SendGrid (email delivery).
  • AI processing: Video frames and text data are sent to Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), and OpenAI (GPT-4o) for analysis. These providers process data per their respective privacy policies and do not retain it for training.
  • Public profiles: If you opt in to a public portfolio, your player name, stats, and highlights are visible at your chosen URL.

Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Highlight clips and PDFs delivered via email remain accessible at their URLs unless you request removal.

Children's Privacy

SIP processes information about student athletes, which may include minors. Parent or guardian consent is required for all accounts and uploads involving players under 18. Account holders must be 18 or older.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, signed session cookies, and encrypted storage. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Changes

We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email.
